I went outside in the storm and inspected on our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C equipment… Sure enough, the lightning had hit a nearby tree and it landed on our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system

Where I live, the summer time weeks always bring in a lot of thunderstorms, but personally, I love a enjoyable storm; I have a screened in porch that is perfect for resting and listening to the rain fall and the thunder roar… Last week, the weather forecast called for a drastic thunderstorm warning and I was thrilled. I had nowhere to be, so I planned on resting on the porch with a enjoyable book and a glass of wine. I watched as the dark clouds rolled in, the first trickle of rain started to fall, and then the thunder and lightning began. I was cozy and happy! Then, as the lightning illuminated the sky, I heard a crack and then a bang. I shot up out of our seat and ran inside. I knew the lightning had hit someplace close. It wasn’t until 30 minutes later that I realized our AC wasn’t working. The lightning had scared myself and others so badly that I decided to get ready for bed early and call it a night. I realized our control unit study 74 degrees although I had it set to 74 degrees when I went to lower it. This was not good, as soon as I realized what was happening, it all clicked inside our head. I went outside in the storm and inspected on our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C equipment… Sure enough, the lightning had hit a nearby tree and it landed on our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system. I was devastated! I wasn’t willing to call the emergency Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C maintenance line, because there was nothing they could do that night. I already knew that I’d need to replace the equipment.
